Q: What is BB Shoots and how is it different from traditional production services?
A: BB Shoots is a pre-designed shoot to make high-end assets accessible. We've locked in every detail. These concepts are for the female gaze - everything you love about Womankind Creative and its values in concepts for **your** brand. BB shoots is not your typical assembly-line, high volume, one-size fits all production. Instead this is a solution for small, women-led brands to have considered, creative, and nastily-good assets for their brands to be seen, drive sales, and break through.
Q: Spill the tea, how are you able to offer high-end production at a fraction of the cost?
A: We split a shoot day into four slots so four brands can share the cost of the production. That way, everyone gets high-quality assets without having to break the bank while compensating everyone involved fairly. BB shoots is proof that when women work together, amazing things happen. Plain and simple. 💅🏼✨
Q: Where do brands need to be based to participate in BB Shoots?
A: BB Shoots is open to brands all across the U.S. Just ship us your products and join us virtually on the day of the shoot. *All* brands will join virtually (even the locals). Our production is set up to live stream as we shoot, so you'll be able to see the shots roll in and be a part of the creative process no matter where you are. We're breaking down barriers and making high-end production accessible to small, women-led brands everywhere.
Q: Where will the shoot take place?
A: The location will be shared with the brands that participate in the shoot. But don't worry, we've got you covered, for a vibe check take a look at the location inspo on the moodboards.
Q: Is talent confirmed for the shoot?
A: We've got a lineup of talented baddies who are excited to bring BB shoots to life. And just in case life throws us a curveball, we've got you covered with a whole roster of backups. So rest assured, we've got the talent game on lock!
Q: How many products can I send in for a shoot?
A: We accept a maximum of three products per brand. This is to ensure that we can fully showcase each product in the allotted shoot time and make each shot iconic.
Q: Can I alter the concept or suggest my own creative direction?
A: No, we don't allow **any** changes to the pre-designed concepts. But don't worry, during onboarding we'll dig deep into your brand's vibe. We'll pin down every angle and nuance to make sure the shoot screams you—all without tweaking the art direction. It's our way of giving you top-tier quality without the sticker shock.
Q: Some concepts are recommended for "fashion" but styling and wardrobe is already selected. How will my brand's clothing be incorporated?
A: We'll omit the wardrobe we've pulled and instead, you'll be able to send over an outfit from your collection to be shot in the concept. We'll provide you with the model's measurements.
Q: How many photos will I receive in the gallery?
A: Galleries include 10 photos. Four for each product or you can divvy them up depending on your brand's needs and goals.
Q: Can I request revisions to the proof gallery or final photographs?
A: No babe, galleries are final and cannot be revised. To be able to offer high-end production, quality assets at almost one-third of our average production cost, we've streamlined the process.
Q: How can I use the photos? Does the price include usage?
A: Yes, it includes a limited license. BB Shoots usage license is issued for a 1 year term and grants usage rights for all owned digital brand channels, including social media profiles, websites, and email marketing. Paid media and print media included for 90 days.
Q: Are there any limitations on the usage of the images?
A: If you would like to use the assets beyond the licensing rights provided, give us a holler and we'll be happy to provide you with a quote.
Q: Can I renew the rights to use the images?
A: F*ck yeah! If you would like to renew your usage license, please contact us at least 30 days prior to the expiration date. We'll provide you with an estimate for your licensing needs and issue an extension once payment is received.
Q: Do we need to credit BB Shoots or Womankind Creative when using the images?
A: Nope, no need to credit us. But if you're feeling the love for BB Shoots and Womankind Creative, we'd be over the moon if you referred other women-led brands or left us a review. Spread the word, bb!
Q: What is the payment process like?
A: Payment is due in full when you sign the contract. We require this to secure your spot and ensure that we can all fully commit our resources to your brand's concept.
Q: What is the refund policy?
A: No refunds. The work's been done, honey! But we know you'll love your assets and your brand will slay. We're not worried, boo! Neither should you.
